Starting Friday, April 10, Collaborative Visions is offering an out-of-school program focused on storytelling through film. Presented in conjunction with Film Prize Jr, a state-wide student film festival, the program is open to all Mora county students, including homeschoolers, in grades 6 to 12 during the 2026-2027 school year.

Camera! – Learn How to Make Movies!

We’ll spend the next four months exploring all the basics of filmmaking – scriptwriting, planning a documentary, scheduling, lighting, sound, and editing. Students write, shoot, and finish a short film. We’ll enter up to four films in the statewide Film Prize NM Junior Film Fest
