Our Founding E.D. Retires

Visiones Collaborativas/Collaborative Visions Executive Director Anita LaRan has marked her retirement from day-to-day operations. Anita has been ED since our founding in 2010 and has been a quiet but implacable force for beneficial community development.

Thankfully, Anita plans to remain with VC/CV, moving into a role on our board of directors where she can guide and mentor our staff as we reach for our next milestones.

Another Milestone in Her 38-year Community Service Career

The list of projects Anita has worked on since 1987 reveals her impact on Mora. She’s helped build coops https://visionescollaborativas.org/co-operatives/

She’s worked with the watersheds and community health https://visionescollaborativas.org/healthy-events-and-water-shed/

And Anita worked tirelessly, offering support to fire evacuees and their families during the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon fire and leading in local recovery efforts https://visionescollaborativas.org/plaza-nueva-project/

And the list goes on. We’ll be celebrating many of her achievements here over the next few months. Please keep an eye out.
